Geographic Information Systems and Computer Programming:

More than 15 years experience in the use of ESRI products (ARC INFO, ARC Editor, ARCView, Arc Server) . This experience includes the following:

Planning and Implementing a complete data conversion project for a county. This required converting land parcels, road centerlines and other paper-based data to a modern GIS that is used by Assessors, planning, and dispatch departments. This effort required managing staff in data data conversion efforts, writing grants to purchase equipement, and maintaiining and updating data when necessary.

Managing the installation and full implementation of a enterprise GIS server with a web-enabled Internet/Intranet interface using ARCGIS Server 9.2, Flex 3, or ESRI web mapping interface. This system has a ARCGIS web mapping interface for the public and special web mapping interfaces for internal departments. screen capture

Developing a hybrid GIS application that integrated a Microsoft.NET SQL server application with ARCGIS Engine, and a patented mining claim viewer. screen capture

Developing a commercial field data collection application based upon Microsoft .NET for Pocket PCs and laptops.

Responsible for the application of a UNIX-based Geographic Information System (ARC/INFO) to regional economic impact studies for the Minerals Availability Field Office, Denver, U.S. Bureau of Mines.
